Did you know there are Eurocamp Sites NOT in France?

I was recently chatting to someone who asked me whether I knew there were Eurocamp sites in places like Italy nowadays.  I said I did know that and was actually a little surprised to find out that it wasn’t something everyone knew. However when I went to look at the website again I was really surprised to find out that there was Eurocamp sites in 10 countries and this includes places like Luxembourg and Corsica too!

So here are 10 of the Best Eurocamp Sites for Families NOT in France!

The facilities at this ‘Orbitur’ parc include a pool complex with a pool especially for kids, a play area, games room, plus a restaurant and takeaway. Just a short walk away you’ll discover a wide, sandy beach – perfect for surfing in July and August when the waves are high. Playa Montroig Camping Resort (Miami Platja, Costa Dorada)

Playa Montriog  is nestled in subtropical gardens alongside Costa Dorada’s sandy beaches. It’s also beautifully landscaped and is brimming with first-class facilities, like its stunning pool complex with four pools, including a lagoon-style heated pool and one with six waterslides. Both Mummy from the Heart and Monkey and Mouse had great trips to Playa Montroig. Jenny says “It’s a particularly good choice for families who are looking for somewhere easy to entertain the kids, but also never too far from local sights.” Take a look at their full reviews:

Luxembourg

Birkelt Campsite (Larochette)

Birkelt Campsite also known as Little Switzerland. A beautiful location which makes Birkelt parc such a great idea for a holiday.  There are meadows, woodlands and peaceful rivers all around; on parc you’ll find an impressive pool complex featuring an outdoor paddling pool (open from the end of June) and a domed, all-weather swimming pool with a retractable roof that opens when the sun arrives. The pool complex is only one of a long list of impressive facilities, which includes free Wi-Fi, horse riding, kids’ disco, play area, plus an excellent bar, restaurant and take-away. Little Switzerland is a big surprise. The Mini’s & Me were immediately drawn to it because it looked reasonably small and peaceful from the descriptions (426 pitches), yet it had enough entertainment and nearby attractions to keep them occupied for the Sunday-Friday break. Ca’Savio Campsite (Cavallino-Treporti, Adriatic)

Ca’Savio Campsite is a ferry trip away from Venice, this large, child-friendly holiday parc has two pool complexes – room enough for everyone to have a leisurely swim or a splash about.  There are lots of activities during high summer, and direct access to a beautiful, long sandy beach. The bars and restaurants of town are only a short stroll away, and if you want to explore further, simply hop on a bus or hire bikes. You can even take a boat trip to Venice!

There we go has a review of Ca’Savio here where you can also Read More…  about Bella Italia too!

Marina di Venezia Campsite (Punta Sabbioni, Adriatic)

Marina di Venezia Campsite is another parc just a short ride from Venice. This high quality parc has a superb pool complex with an Olympic-sized swimming pool, large kids’ pool and waterslides. The main piazza offers a supermarket, diving school, restaurants and even a hairdresser. From the beginning of June, the ‘animatore’ organises activities and evening entertainment for all the family. Venture to the back of the campsite to reach a wonderful, white sandy beach or explore the stunning woodland on two wheels. This is a great place to be as laid back or as energetic as you want to be.

El Bahira in Sicily has its own private beach and fantastic pools.  This rustic parc is known for its rock climbing and supervised deep sea diving, and for the Ferragosto festival in mid August, where you can enjoy a lively few nights of open-air discos on the beach. This authentically Sicilian parc also has its own private, rocky beach, which can be reached via a pathway. Or for a more child-friendly option, take a short drive to the beautiful sandy beach at San Vito lo Capo.
