Visit a perfume museum, hire a boat, or take a street art tour – there are so many things to do in Cannes with Kids!

Here are my top 10 things to do in Cannes with Kids in no particular order.

Parfumerie Molinard, Cannes

Molinard is renowned for its fragrances combining modernity and tradition, their unique know-how based on a rich 165 year experience in perfume industry.

Under the guidance of an in-house expert, the children will discover the secrets of perfume and learn how to compose their very own creation. They will get to choose from 18 essences, and have fun combining the scents to create the perfume of their dreams!

Musee de la Castre

It was originally a square castle-fort, with a dungeon and a watchtower. The kids will love it as it looks and sounds like something out of a strategy game. A beautiful Mediterranean garden softens the entrance, makes it inviting. The watchtower can also be climbed.

Geocaching

The rules of geocaching are: “Take some stuff, leave some stuff” You go in search of treasure by using the GPS system on your mobile device – once you’ve found it, you write your name in a logbook and replace the treasure you decide to take. It’s pretty simple really and means, as a family, you can be adventurers together. You won’t usually find anything quite as precious as gold, silver and diamonds but nevertheless it’s quite exciting!

Boat trips & Sailing in Cannes

There is nothing more beautiful than the coastline around Cannes, and what better way to see it than on a boat.

The islands of Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat are off the southern tip of the Cap de la Croisette you could take a boat trip to one of those islands and swim on the way or you could even splash the cash and book a Yacht charter in Cannes.

Paddleboarding

Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is a popular global sport these days, often described as a cross between surfing and kayaking. It is also a fun way to explore the immediate coastline. Whether going solo or with the whole family, you will find paddle boards to hire on various beaches around the coast, usually rented out by the hour. No previous experience is needed, just hop on the board and start paddling.

Antibes Land Theme Park

Between Nice and Cannes, Antibesland welcomes the whole family, from the smallest to the largest, from the most careful to the most intrepid, in an exceptional setting, by the beaches and the Vaugrenier natural park. This summer, the Park is celebrating its 40th anniversary!

If you are spending your weekend or your vacation on the French Riviera, Antibesland is the must-see theme park to have fun and share unforgettable moments of joy. https://www.antibesland.fr/

Aquasplash, Antibes

Just over a kilometre from Cannes is La Croix-Des Gardes. Les Croix-Des Gardes comprises over 200 acres of forest. Known as the ‘lungs of Cannes’, this beautiful natural reserve is a lovely place for a walk with kids or without and it also has some of the best views of the coastline and the city.

Karting

Karting is a popular activity for people of all ages. At the karting circuit in Bar-sur-Loup, to the north of Cannes, you can enjoy lessons, grand prix and more. Feel the adrenaline rush and race to beat the rest of the family!

Horse Riding

Private lessons for all ages and level of rider. Can be either on your own horse, or on one belonging to the stable.

They also off competition training in show jumping and dressage. The instructors are French-English bilingual.
