Here is our 14 Day Walt Disney World with Kids plan!
It won’t be news to regular readers that we visited Orlando in April 2016 with our three little girls (then aged 5, 4 and 4) and their Grandparents too. I spent ages deciding where to visit and when; and an equally long time deciding where to stay. I found the whole thing quite baffling at first as there is just so much to do and so many options. I read articles , I listened to podcasts, I read blog posts like this one, I consulted a trip planning service, I reviewed crowd level calendars and I watched you tube videos. I really enjoyed the planning but it can be incredibly overwhelming.
This post includes links to all my Walt Disney World Posts so you can find them easily and hopefully pick up some tips. The general ones are just here and the touring plans/trip reviews are below in the 14 day plan.

The Ultimate Packing List for Disney
I decided quite early on that we would spend 14 days in Orlando, rather than 7 days in Orlando with 7 on the coast but now I wish I’d considered fitting in a Disney Cruise too as I hadn’t realised the true cost of a Disney Cruise. I wanted to make sure we had time to take days off and spend half days at the park as I thought it would be too much to expect the girls to do 7 long full days at the parks.
Walt Disney World obviously took up quite a lot of our time in Orlando but that really isn’t all Kissimmee and Orlando have to offer. I have a post on the Top Ten things to do in Kissimmee here and for those of you thinking of planning a similar trip my trip plan is below.
NB: Our trip plan has been cross referenced with a crowd calendar for WDW produced by WDW Prep School, so if you’re thinking of using ours as a base, check the actual days you are thinking of visiting for expected crowd levels.

Wow, that looks fantastic. Going to be VERY busy, so exciting!!
This is such a great idea Karen, perfect for tracking your schedule , you are going to have the best time x
Looks fantastic! That’s going to such a fun trip and this is a great way to organise your plans, I look forward to reading your reviews.
This is a great plan Karen. I could plan trips to WDW every day and I really miss all of the planning from our 3 trips there. We also used a crowd calendar with Touring Plans and it worked really well. We used to do 2 park days and then have a rest day. I even printed our 2 week itinerary out and had it on the hotel room wall. Lord knows what the maids must have thought. Eek only around 8 weeks now for you xx
Oh my goodness this is AMAZING! MY husband and I are taking our four girls for the first time (for all of us!) in October this year. We’re keeping it a surprise from the girls at the moment and it’s so hard trying to plan without them seeing anything. These blogs you’ve shared are going to be brilliant for helping me, even though our girls are older (15, 10, 9 and 7). Can’t wait to dive in 🙂
Oh I’m so pleased. Any questions just ask too!
