It won’t be news to regular readers that we are travelling to Orlando next week! I have spent ages deciding where to visit and when; and an equally long time deciding where to stay. I found the whole thing quite baffling at first as there is just so much to do and so many options. I have read articles, I have listened to podcasts, I have read blog posts, I have consulted a trip planning service, I have reviewed crowd level calendars and I have watched you tube videos. I have really enjoyed the planning and I now have a trip plan!
I decided quite early on that we would spend 14 days in Orlando, rather than 7 days in Orlando with 7 on the coast. I wanted to make sure we had time to take days off and spend half days at the park as I thought it would be too much to expect the girls to do 7 long full days at the parks.
Walt Disney World will obviously take up quite a lot of our time in Orlando but that really isn’t all Kissimmee and Orlando have to offer. I have a post on the Top Ten things to do in Kissimmee here and for those of you that want more detail take a look at my detailed trip plan here. For those of you that just want to know how we are spreading it out, take a look at our pinnable image.
NB: Our trip plan has been cross referenced with a crowd calendar for WDW produced by WDW Prep School, so if you’re thinking of using ours as a base, check the actual days you are thinking of visiting for expected crowd levels.
Ah I am so excited for you all, you are going to have the best time there is nothing like Disney, have a wonderful time Minitravellers xx
