There are plenty of places to visit Santa in Nottinghamshire, but here are our 5 favourite places to see Santa in Nottinghamshire this Christmas.

1. Rufford Abbey

Set in beautiful parkland in North Nottinghamshire, Rufford Abbey provides the perfect setting for a visit to Santa.

In December there is also the opportunity to dine with the big man. Click here.

Visit the Rufford Abbey website for more info.

2. Wheatcroft Garden Centre

Situated just outside the city centre, Wheatcroft usually puts on a great Santa’s grotto but there is no current info.

Visit the Wheatcroft website for more info.

3. Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park

Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park is a 30 acre family theme park and water park in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire.

The Christmas Experience opens in mid November. There’s GIANT Christmas tree, reindeers and the park is transformed into a magical winter wonderland.

Visit the Wheelgate Park website for more info.

4. White Post Farm

For something a bit different, head to White Post Farm for their Christmas Experience.

There’s a Christmas Barn with a Winterland Walkthrough, the opportunity to build a snowman, Christmas crafts and of course, the opportunity to meet Santa. They hold a traditional nativity play, which is on daily, and they also have the Elf Academy where you can see if you’ve got what it takes to be an Elf.

The Christmas festivities begin from early December and run until Christmas Eve. All the activities are included in the standard admission price. You do need to book.

Visit the White Post Farm website for more info.

5. Center Parcs Winter Wonderland

Not generally one you can do in a day, but Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest does a great Winter Wonderland every November and December. There are real reindeers, pony rides and a range of Christmas activities to get you all in the festive spirit. There’s also the opportunity to visit Santa in his Woodland Workshop.

Winter Wonderland breaks run from Friday 8th November until 31st December 2019 and are great if you really want to push the boat out!

Read Travelling Twinkles post about Center Parcs Winter Wonderland.
