Are you looking for things to do in the lake district with children? We are going to be on holiday there this half term and I know from experience that it is a popular destination for families in October. I thought I’d put together a list of all the events that I have found are going on and a few other suggestions of places to visit with the family anytime.
1. Visit Brockhole
We’ve visited Brockhole a couple of time. You can find my full review here – Brockhole, the Lake District. There are lots of things to do including a fantastic playground, treetop nets and treks, boat and bike hire. This half-term they have lots of activities on offer like zombie archery, spooky face painting and a ghosts and ghouls trail. See their website for full details of dates, times and prices.
