A flip flop alternative with arch support with Aussie Soles UK

2019 UPDATE: Last year we LIVED in our Aussie Soles and below you can read what the range is all about. I recommended them to everyone who saw me wearing them, and I wore them a lot. I now see a lot of my friends in them and when Aussie Soles asked if they could send new flip flops for the kids this year and different colour ones for me I readily agreed! Below are just a few of the places we wore them this Summer – including in the sea, out for dinner, in theme parks, sightseeing, riding bikes! Basically everywhere. We flipping love them!

Aussie Soles UK got in touch just before we went to the Kalkan Regency in Turkey to ask if we would like to try out their healthy alternative to flat flip-flops in exchange for a review.

I was a little bemused when I received the press release as I didn’t realise that flip flops weren’t healthy per se but I read on anyway.

The Aussie Soles we were sent are all from the Starfish™ range and all offer orthotic arch support. You can find more information about the orthotic arch support on the website. The inside of the Starfish range are moulded and are much more comfortable that standard flip flops. They feel chunkier and definitely feel like you get more support than your average pair.

The twins who have a pink pair and a blue pair in size 11 have a strap around the back to keep them on, whereas the size 13 we received didn’t.  All the kids deemed them really comfortable but they are if I’m honest happier in their keen sandals or their trainers as they don’t come off as easily when they are running.  I on the other hand have lived in mine since they arrived and have them on in the bottom photo with my dilli grey jumpsuit if you’re interested (not sponsored, just love it).

There are lots of colours available and although they do have an RRP of £29.99 they feel like they will last for a long time.
