When deciding which site to visit you just never know which is the best one to go for unless you get some recommendations. We’ve scoured the internet to find which Eurocamp sites in Spain are most commonly recommended, so here they are in no particular order.
El Delfin Verde Campsite, Costa Brava

- Rated as Very Good on Trip Advisor
- Large – 1220 Pitches
- Enjoy the quirky, dolphin-shaped pool
- Try out a new watersport on the parc’s beach
- Hop on bikes and cycle along the coast
El Delfin Verde has direct access to the beach and is situated 8 km from the nearest town so a car is definitely recommended. You would also need to factor in that the nearest airport is 53 km away and the port of Bilbao is 742 km. The site runs its own kids club. Common compliments are about the pool and waterslides, the lovely beach, the night time entertainment, that the supermarket is good and there are decent places to eat on the parc.
Cambrils Park, Costa Dorada

- Premium parc with first-class facilities
- Keep the kids entertained with a full-on animation programme
- Visit nearby PortAventura for a fun-packed day out
Cambrils parc is located about 0.6 km from the nearest beach and 1 km from the nearest town so a car is not essential. Bear in mind the site is 553 km away from Bilbao port, however, Cambrils Park is only 13 km from the nearest airport. The site runs its own kids club and has evening entertainment.
Cambrils Park does rate highly on guest reviews as a family-friendly resort with a number of mentions for the pool, on-site bakery, shop and pizza takeaway.
Sanguli Campsite, Costa Dorada

- Large – 980 Pitches
- 200 metres from the beach
- Catch a show at the amphitheatre on parc
- Enjoy a thrilling day out at PortAventura
This parc is only 0.2 km from the nearest beach and 1 km from the nearest town. Whilst Eurocamp recommend a car (the port, Bilbao is 553 km away), the nearest airport however is only 12 km away. Laura from fivelittledoves told us,
“We did this one without a car and didn’t miss it whatsoever. We still got about and had an amazing time.”
The site runs its own kids club and there is entertainment in the evenings. There are numerous activities and pools with waterslides, all of excellent quality. The Africa pool gets a number of mentions in particular. The supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced and there is a bakery.
“I never thought that we would find a holiday destination that was both affordable and practical for a larger family, and that could accommodate a four and fourteen year old equally. Our week passed in a delightful blur of sunshine, fun, and laughter, and I know we will look back on this holiday for years to come”

Playa Montroig Camping Resort, Costa Dorada

- Relax in immaculate, tropical gardens on parc
- Enjoy the thrills and spills of nearby PortAventura
- Ideal location for road cycling and climbing
This parc has direct access to the beach and the nearest town is 5 km away so Eurocamp suggest having a car is optional. The nearest port however is 566 km away and the nearest airport is 26 km. There is a parc run kids club.
Playa Montroig is nestled in subtropical gardens alongside Costa Dorada’s sandy beaches. It’s also beautifully landscaped and is brimming with first-class facilities, like its stunning pool complex with four pools, including a lagoon-style heated pool and one with six waterslides. Both Mummy from the Heart and Monkey and Mouse had great trips to Playa Montroig. Jenny says “It’s a particularly good choice for families who are looking for somewhere easy to entertain the kids, but also never too far from local sights.” Take a look at their full reviews:

Park Playa Bara Campsite, Costa Dorada

- Visit PortAventura for a thrilling day out
- Hop on the bus outside the parc and visit beautiful Tarragona
Park Playa Bara has direct access to the beach and is 1.5 km from but nevertheless a car is recommended as it is 34 km from the airport and 565 km from the recommended post, Bilbao. The site runs its own kids club and there is evening entertainment. The reviews are very positive about the cleanliness and grounds of the campsite, including the ampitheatre. Many guests also rate the pool complex as lovely and the beach as beautiful. The on site shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. The restaurant and take away also received a number of compliments.
Vilanova Park Campsite, Costa Dorada

- Large – 1413 Pitches
- Leave the car at home and fly into Barcelona (there is a train every 15 minutes from Barcelona centre to Sitges or a bus service)
- Keep the kids occupied with a round of crazy golf on parc
- Test your lungs out at PortAventura theme park
There are 2 pool complexes on Vilanova Park which receive good reviews. There is a shop and take away, which both receive fair reviews, but unfortunately the restaurant is not so favourably rated. For Vilanova Park Eurocamp suggest a car is optional. However, it is worth bearing in mind that the nearest beach is 4 km and the nearest town is 3 km. The nearest airport, Barcelona is 41 km away and recommended post, Bilbao, is 576 km away. There also doesn’t appear to be a kids club (not mentioned on Eurocamp site) but there is a night time entertainment program and a site-run kids club for smaller children according to reviews.
Castell Montgri Campsite, Costa Brava

- Rated as Very Good on Trip Advisor
- Large – 1057 Pitches
- Enjoy ‘Jocs’, the parc’s own funfair (5 mins away)
- Explore the area by bike, you can hire them on parc
- Two of the parc’s pools are open until midnight
Castell Montgri has 3 lovely pools to choose from and plenty to keep the kids occupied. It’s worth noting that some reviews warn of deep areas in the pools though and that sun loungers are charged at €4 a day. There is a parc-run kids club on site and a night time entertainment program. The on site supermarket fairs ok but there is a Lidl supermarket 5-10 minutes walk away which is a popular choice. Castell Montgri is 1.5 km away from the beach and 1 km away from the nearest town but a car is still recommended. However, there is a free bus to L’esartit and the beach. The site is located 52 km from the airport and 741 km from the port of Bilbao.
