So it’s that time of year that I start to panic about what I’m going to buy everyone for Christmas.  Thankfully, everyone in the family is as equally travel obsessed as me so at least I have a starting point..

Just the Ticket: The first adventure.

It’s a 12-month journey around the world through a combination of postcards and online workbooks. When you first sign up you receive a Travel Pack filled with everything needed for the journey (plus some fun extras). From then, each month children receive a postcard (DTK designed of course) from the country we’re travelling to, giving them access to a workbook about that country. As they complete the workbooks through the year, they can add stickers to their Just the Ticket passports until complete.

I absolutely love this World Map from Wallsauce they have so many wonderful World Map Wallapers on sale that I really didn’t know which one to choose.

They make a brilliant gift as they come in all different sizes, just measure the wall area you want it to be on and order. You simply paste the wall and expertly add the map to the wall. The price really depends on the size.

We’ve just renovated our basement so need to apologise for the angle and the slightly dark photo but can confirm it’s amazing quality (really thick) and we’ve had so many fabulous comments on it already. Just need to finish the rest of the room now!

Trangia

So I know this seems like a slightly strange gift but believe me I know lots of people (it has to be said mainly Dads) who love the old fashioned camping style of the Trangia. They are small, they are compact but they are also reliable and simple, and for me anything that makes someone else want to do the cooking on a camping trip makes it a winning gift!
