Last night my three girls were lucky enough to attend the first night of Disney on Ice presents Frozen at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. This is their third Disney on Ice show and most definitely their favourite to date.
If you have been to any Disney on Ice shows before you will know that they start with a greeting from Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy who explain what the show is all about and what will happen when. The show was to be all about LOVE and how different characters might show it.
Seeing Pumba at the beginning made the girls giggle and they squealed with excitement when all their favourite Princesses came onto the ice!
After the introduction the show can then start and the reason (for my three) that this was their favourite Disney on Ice show was because it started with Frozen (still possibly their all time favourite film!).
If you can have a rendition of “Let It Go” in the first hour of a show then you have happy girls in my house! You can hear them belting along to it in this clip.
Thos morning I asked the girls what was their best bits of the show and in no particular order it was:
Seeing the big monster although he was a bit scary!
Watching Olaf and singing with him to the Summer Song (I think they know this song word perfectly!) and
Singing Let It Go and the top of their voices.
Other Disney favourites made an appearance too including the new Trolls characters, but for mine it was all about Frozen!
Highly recommended!
Disney On Ice presents Frozen finishes its UK tour on 30th December. For a complete list of tour dates, visit the Disney On Ice website (http://www.disneyonice.co.uk).
NB: We were lucky enough to receive tickets to watch Disney on Ice but all views and opinions are our own.
We went to the Birmingham show and quite agree: it was brilliant!!
