We are going to Corsica this summer with Simpson Travel to a beautiful family friendly villa near to Porto Vecchio and I simply can’t wait. We had the most magical trip with Simpson Travel last year to a stunning family friendly villa in Greece and I just know we are going to love Corsica as much.
It will be our fourth consecutive year travelling with Simpson Travel, but with the last three trips being to Greece, why have we chosen to try a villa in Corsica?
I think a brief look at these photos will show you why!
Just look at those golden sandy beaches! I could paddle in that water and lie on that beach for hours on end and no doubt I will! It reminds me of the Caribbean but it is only 2 hours 15 minutes from the UK! Yes you read that right – just 2 hours 15 minutes from the UK. It seems crazy that we haven’t been before.
Corsica is an island belonging to France and based in the Mediterranean Sea. It is located just west of Italy, southeast of France and north of Sardinia.
You can take a look here for more ideas on what to do in Corsica with Tweens and Teens but with under 10’s I think we will be building sandcastles, meeting the 3,000 tortoises and turtles at the A Cupulatta sanctuary near Propriano, and taking a trip out to sea on a glass bottom boat!

We also have the most glorious villa booked which will be absolutely amazing for my three swimming pool lovers as it has a huge heated 15m pool just for them! I think one of those sun loungers has my name on it!
Simpson Travel has an incredible collection of family friendly villas in Corsica and a really helpful team who can talk you through which one will be best for your family. We asked them if we could have views, a big pool and a villa that was close to the pool so the kids could run in and out of the villa themselves. This one is a perfect match!
You can check out their selection of Corsica villas here!
nb: We are working with Simpson Travel and will be their guests in Corsica

Corsica looks beautiful! How gorgeous is the sea!
I have been to Corsica, but solo, and would love for my family to go too. Will check out this company!
Corsica looks amazing. I’m sure you are going to have another wonderful family holiday with Simpson Travel.
I once met a family from Corsica, when I was travelling on a train. They were SO proud to come from the place! I’ve wanted to visit ever since, and your beautiful pictures and descriptions are making me hanker after it even more.
