Where is the kids area in Heathrow T5?
There are a number of kids areas at Heathrow Airport, in fact each terminal has one but we have flown from T5 a few times and the kids area in Heathrow T5 can be a little tricky to find . The kids areas are unsupervised, soft play areas that are designed to keep your little companion busy and entertained prior to the flight.
The kids area in Heathrow T5 is located in the main Terminal 5A lounge, after you pass the security checks, near Gate A7 which is to the far end of area A in T5.
This Stay & Play area is open from 8.30am to 7am daily. There is free entry, and it’s supposed to be suitable for children aged 0-9, although I think mine at aged 7 and 6 are towards the upper end of those who would find it enjoyable. An adult must accompany the child whilst they are in the play area.
The kids area is just one of the many things British Airways have introduced in T5 in conjunction with Heathrow Airport including a special line at security so you shouldn’t have to stand in the queue for so long.
What a great idea!
