When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, fearless Anna (Kristen Bell) joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his reindeer sidekick to find Anna’s sister, Snow Queen Elsa (Idina Menzel), and break her icy spell. Although their epic journey leads them to encounters with mystical trolls, a comedic snowman (Josh Gad), harsh conditions, and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff bravely push onward in a race to save their kingdom from winter’s cold grip.

What do the Frozen 2 trailers tell us?

In the trailer earlier this year, we saw Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf all back and seemingly training to fight an evil force.

Apart from new costumes, fans also spotted a lot of floating diamonds and two new featured characters.

The diamonds are a big feature of the second trailer too.

We see a new character telling Elsa “the past is not what it seems, you must find the truth”, with a flashback to Elsa as a young girl. What this could mean, we don’t know yet!

She is also told to “go north across the enchanted lands and into the unknown”, so it looks like the beloved characters are off on an exciting adventure of discovery.

“But be careful – we have always feared Elsa’s powers are too much for this world,” the character warns. “Now, we must hope they are enough.”

We also see Anna promising that she won’t let anything happen to her sister.
