Sharing is caring!

We needed a bit of an escape pre Christmas. The NHS has been no fun what with extra clinics and lists and spending so many weekends vaccinating for twelve months on top of the day job! We fancied something local and a bit different so when we saw a new business open and jumped at the chance to book Abbey Farm.

Set in 7 acres Abbey Farm is a gorgeous escape from life in North Norfolk. The glamping domes are hugely luxurious. More lovely than many hotels we have stayed in! Easily sleeping 6, our boys took the bed on the mezzanine level accessed by a ladder with Lara downstairs with us.

A fully integrated kitchen and an en-suite bathroom took glamping to the next level. There was a log burner, BBQ with pizza oven and wood fired hot tub. My boys are always in charge of our fire at home so took charge of keeping us cosy. We took a couple of extra crates of wood from home with us which I would recommend if you want to stay warm and use the hot tub a couple of times.

We had included in our stay a home made pizza kit which kept us entertained and fed one evening. Not sure we would win any prizes for our efforts but we gave it a go! There were also some home baked treats from a local bakery which was a lovely touch  and a breakfast hamper from our hosts.

The glamping domes are a short 5km walk to the Banningham  Crown pub serving good pub food. Cromer is also a short drive and has lots of lovely cafes and restaurants if you venture further.

So if you fancy a family treat, take a look as Abbey Farm are offering a great discount of 10% on January bookings with free use of a hot tub which is normally £95.
