Christmas is such a magical time of year when you have children. It can also be extremely busy! To make present buying a little easier, we’ve rounded up a selection of brilliant books for children of all ages. Do keep an eye on twitter for a chance to win copies of some of the books featured.

Baby Books

This is a fun, vibrant take on the classic ‘This Little Piggy’ rhyme. Great to read aloud and with plenty of things to spot, it’s perfect for little ones.

I love this hide-and-seek series and Where’s Mr Narwhal is no exception. With bright artwork and soft, tactile, felt shapes throughout, it’s lovely to read with babies.

My little one loves tracing the curser around the graphic shapes on each page of this colourful book. It’s a playful introduction to different shapes.

Emergency vehicles have always been popular in our house and with its rhyming text, and sliders that small hands can push and pull on each page, this is a definite hit!

Dog is looking after some puppies who won’t behave, but luckily Frog has a plan… My boys both love the Oi Frog series and the latest book is just as hilarious and entertaining as it’s predecessors. 

Greta And The Giants by Zoe Tucker & Zoe Persico (Frances Lincon)

This story is inspired by Greta Thunberg’s fight to save the world and it is a brilliant way to introduce the concept of climate change and the power of standing up for what you believe in to young children.
