Yesterday we got the sad news that Administrators have been appointed to Flybe.
Unlike the Monarch Administration which left 110,000 passengers overseas Flybe had a mainly UK based operation.
What does it mean to you if you are on holiday?
If you are on holiday now and for the next two weeks your flight home will be organised by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) with assistance from the administrators. The flight will be at no cost to you, however any other costs you incur such as additional accommodation cost or food etc will need to be covered by you or possibly your travel insurance.
What does it mean to you if you are in the UK and due to fly with Flybe?
All Flybe and Stobart Air flights have been cancelled with immediate effect, so unless you have ATOL protection, which most won’t, you’ll need to arrange alternative travel.
Flybe’s franchise partners Eastern Airlines and Blue Islands are continuing to operate, but if you’re booked to fly with one of them you should contact the airline to confirm your travel arrangements.
If you require any further information or assistance, please contact the Administrators by email at flybeadministration@uk.ey.com.
Employees
In the event that you were an employee of the Company and you require any further information or assistance in relation to the Administration, please contact the Administrators by email at flybeemployees@uk.ey.com.
What is your financial position?
