I have been looking for a tablet to add to our ‘activity bag’ for a while now, it needed to be child friendly and hold the attention of a toddler that knows her way around a smart phone- there is no fooling them these days is there? So, when On the Movies asked if I would like to try out their Pretty Kitty Bag with 8GB tablet I was very excited!

The bag itself is great, it is made from a sturdy fabric and is big enough to hold everything a toddler will ever need! It also has a front pocket with a clear plastic window, so they can watch their favourite film while the tablet is still in the bag.

The bag can also hang over the headrest so that they can be entertained on a long journey, we have already downloaded all her favourite movies ready for our trip down to Devon in a few weeks- a 4 hour journey!

The tablet has android technology so you can download games and apps from the Google Play Store. There are plenty of educational games to choose from so you can be sure they are learning as they play. It actually comes with lots of games pre-installed so they can get going as soon as you turn it on.

It is really easy to use, of course toddlers seem to be born knowing how to use everything these days but I was able to navigate my way around the tablet too. Something we really like is the ability to screenshot from the homepage so when she has drawn a great picture we can save it forever.

All in all it has been a hit, we have taken it on a few shorter trips and will definitely be making sure we pack it for long journeys. The battery lasts for 4 hours (continual use) which makes it ideal! We just need to get another one for her sister when she is old enough! I have my eye on the Cheeky Monkey bag!

We were sent a bag and tablet in return for our honest opinion. All thoughts and words are my own.

  1. Interesting concept, but that bag doesn’t look very ergonomic on the child. At this age they can do more harm than good with incorrect great.
Could you shore some more pictures about the shoulder straps and the back of the bag?

    • Hi Monika, it was actually a friend of mine Katy who reviewed it so I don’t have the bag to take more photos I’m afraid, but I’m sure the company would answer your queries. Thanks for commenting.

    • Hi Monika, I think at this age the bag is mostly for show. I certainly wouldn’t be putting anything heavy in the bag at all. Little ones love to feel grown up and so having a few pencils and a colouring book in their own bag is great. x

  2. This bag with a tablet is genius! My girls would love it so much and it’s pink, which makes it an even bigger winner. I like that you can add educational games, which is so much better than just watching films. Thanks for linking up to #sundaystars xxx
