Although my preference was to laze around the pool the WHOLE holiday… in reality, this was never going to happen. Our two boisterous toddlers craved a change of scenery, and luckily, come rain or shine, Tenerife has a lot of family-friendly attractions on offer.

We didn’t visit every place that was recommended to us. It would have been expensive and time-consuming, but there was no end of choice from young children to teenagers. Here are just a few we encountered – and some we would have liked to have gone to. Maybe next time…
