Sharing is caring!

We are lucky enough to be heading to Greece this Summer, and as the girls have grown AGAIN I am delighted to be working with Very on their Summer campaign. I was even more delighted when I realised how huge their range of clothes is and that we can get all the clothes we need for the holiday in one place.

In lots of ways a Summer holiday where you know the weather is going to be great can be easier to pack for. Certainly easier than a week in Cornwall in August where I think you almost need to pack your entire wardrobe including hats and scarves, wellies a sunhat and suncream.

But while I always think you just need swimsuits and the odd dress/shorts and t-shirt, it isn’t quite that easy, as you need to think about traveling through the airport, colder evenings and when you have almost teenagers, you need to think about them deciding they don’t like what they’ve packed and what else there might be to put on!

With that in mind we set about choosing a few things from the Very website to pack in our luggage for our Summer Holiday to Greece.

What to wear to the Airport

The girls have always travelled in layers to the airport since they were tiny. The airport and the plane itself can actually be pretty cold at times.

This year the twins have chosen new tracksuits to travel in, which they will wear with t-shirts and trainers. We always need a pair of trainers with us on holiday for any impromptu walks or beach football games so it makes sense to travel in those.

A new tracksuit is also pretty useful to have generally. Eve hasn’t taken her tracksuit top off since it arrived.

Cooler Evenings

For cooler evenings we always pack a couple of cardigans but also a denim jacket. Like me the girls realise that a denim jacket goes with literally everything so its an easy item to get the most wear out of, and comes in useful for all sorts of occasions, holiday or otherwise.

They all have a Girls Classic Blue Denim Jacket which is going to be constantly in use wherever we are.

Playsuits, Dresses and T-shirts

The girls really didn’t know what to choose from the huge range at Very, but eventually ended up with these gorgeous dresses, playsuits and t-shirts. Oh and sunglasses too! Click on the pictures for links to the individual items.

New Swimwear

We take a variety of swimming costumes on holiday with us. We always take long sleeved ones with us for when we don’t want to spend as long putting sun cream on, but this year the girls have all asked for bikinis as well as swimsuits.

We’ve ended up with these lovely suits which aren’t too tiny either.
