Malcolm and Gerald are a new clothing brand who recently asked if we would like to try out some of their personalised t-shirts. They were kind enough to let us choose which one we wanted to review and even kinder to send us three, one for each of my girls.
Whilst we have tried to dress the twins in different clothes, they actually love being dressed the same. This causes problems for friends and family as they sometimes can’t tell them apart. I’d always thought t-shirts with names might help, but have often found them to be a bit naff. This certainly isn’t the case with these t-shirts.
The t-shirts arrived in beautiful packaging; they certainly haven’t scrimped on this. They are brown tubes with lovely print on and very solid. The t-shirts would be perfect presents for this reason alone. I did actually take a photo of the packaging but since I opened the t-shirts my i-phone lost all it’s photos!!
Once opened the t-shirts feel like a quality product and the labelling and tags look impressive.
I teamed the t-shirts with denim skirts, socks and high tops and the girls looked quite preppy and very cute. They would also look great with jeans or shorts etc.
Size wise the t-shirts are generous but don’t look huge. The detail is lovely and the names and numbers don’t look like they will wash off.
Would I buy them? Yes I would. They are a little on the pricey side at £18.99 each, so for 3 (which I would have to buy) it starts to add up, but then what doesn’t! I think these would make really lovely gifts, and will definitely consider buying these as gifts for people in the future.
