Having spent the morning at Gwynfryn Farm where we were staying, we drove down to Abersoch Beach for the afternoon. None of us had been for years and as we drove through the village my husband was noting what shops/restaurants had changed and how even more upmarket it looked.
This was our first day of the beautiful (and unusual weather) for the first week of September, and we misread it completely, turning up to the beach with wellies on, no costumes, no towels or even shorts. Obviously within minutes of arriving they were in the sea, drenched and then running around in wet knickers, with absolutely no way of getting them dry apart from Daddy’s big jumper! They had a ball.
