When we went to Disney in 2016 I wanted a bag that would charge my phone as we went round the parks. I knew we would take hundreds of photos and use the wifi all day to check ride times and I wanted a bag that would fit loads of things in. However the bag also had to be multi purpose. We both had to be able to carry it (both me and the hubby I mean) and whilst I wanted it to be practical as well as functional, I didn’t want it to look like I was in the army or preparing to camp out for the day. The bag I was looking for didn’t exist – believe me I looked! I even considered writing to someone and asking them to make it! So when Redland sent me and email about their new Smart Bags earlier this week I literally replied with a one line email that said – I’d love to know more, this is exactly the bag I was looking for when I went to Disney last year!
So what are the Redland Smart Bags (and why was I so excited)?
It’s a stylish collection of backpacks with built-in battery, USB port and host of security and organisational features so you can be efficient and connected even when on the go…
As well as sounding like the bag that completely answered my brief, they look really stylish. If you’re using this bag then you don’t need to worry about your phone running out as it has a a built-in 10,000mAh battery and an easily accessible USB port which means you can simply plug your phone in and carry on going.
But what I particularly like about this range of Smart Bags (there are 6 in total) is that they have multiple compartments, they look like they have been designed by someone (well frankly it looks like they have been designed by a woman, or at least they have properly consulted) who has used a bag and tried to find places for the phone, the laptop, the water bottle, the nappies, the toys, the camera and the snacks. It looks like the bag you need every day you go out with the kids.
They also have multiple compartments designed for laptops and notebooks of all sizes, so the bag can be used for work as well as those trips out with the kids. The only question in our house might be, who gets to claim it!
There are a lot more photos and some information about the quality and strength of the bags on Redland’s Kickstarter page but here are some of the designs available:
The Redland Smart Bags are available at a reduced price until 5th August 2017 (with delivery pre-Christmas) during their Kickstarter campaign which you can read more about here!
You can also have look at this video which shows you the bag in a little more detail. What do you think? Do you like the sound of them? Do you need one in your life??
