I think by now we have all probably seen the facebook photo that has gone viral about getting your kids to wear bright reflective coats in the winter so that cars can see them when they are by the side of the road.

If you haven’t seen it yet you can see the image below and yes there is a child in the second photo:

So that’s why I was delighted when Reima got in touch and asked if they could send the kids new reflective winter coats. I’ve had so many comments on these coats already and they wear them every day for school. They are long meaning they can sit down in them and they don’t get cold or wet bottoms. The length also means less of them gets wet on the way to school in pouring down rain, and it also means they will last for a long time. Probably at least 2-3 years.

The coats whilst thick don’t feel uncomfortable. My eldest can be reluctant to wear thick coats sometimes as she describes them as fussy or that they get in her way. We haven’t had this complaint at all, and in fact she chooses to wear it all the time.

The coats are also properly waterproof. We walk to school whatever the weather and recently we’ve had some pretty awful mornings. These coats have stood up to the job admirably and we’ve all been delighted to have them.
