We are big fans of the a Mia Tui bag here at Mini Travellers and have a couple in all shapes and sizes. The latest bag to be tested is the Mia Tui Jess Backpack complete with water-bottle holder.

We road tested the Mia Tui Jess Backpack on a recent trip to Germany. Well when I say we, I mean my Mother. Having seen the bag it was requested as a birthday present and that’s the last I saw of it until we were on our trip and the benefits of said bag kept being pointed out to me.

The Mia Tui Jess Backpack is neat and discreet. It isn’t small but isn’t so large that you end up filling it far too much and carrying around a dead weight.  It comes in a range of colours and I chose blue so that it would suit lots of the clothes I have and it seems it suits my Mum too.

What we particularly liked about the Mia Tui Jess Backpack was that when you have the backpack on your back there is a secret pocket which you can put your purse and phone in and/or any other valuables and then you don’t need to worry about those being stolen when you’re in a really busy place. I think this is particularly helpful when you’re travelling and you don’t quite know where you are going to be and how busy it might be.   On the bus into Hamburg one morning it was very busy and whilst Mum would normally have taken the bag off her back or had it sat on her front, she didn’t feel the need to. This is a great feature of this bag.

I hope you can see from the above picture how useful the inside is too. A separate place for your water bottle (regularly topped up through the day), a phone pocket, places for those pens you can never find at the bottom of your bag, places for maps, and all washable and waterproof too.

I’m really very impressed with the Mia Tui Jess Backpack – the only problem is that I seem to have lost this one and now need one for me!

The Mia Tui Jess Backpack retails at £38 and comes in a whole host of colours. You can find them on the website.
