Muddy Puddles Puddleflex wellies are £28.50 a pair, rather than wellies you can buy for £12 (even on Muddy Puddles own website) so what makes them more expensive, and more importantly why is it worth it?
Longlasting
We had Muddy Puddles Puddleflex wellies back in 2017 and they lasted two years before my girls outgrew them. When they sadly did I knew we wanted replacements rather than a different type of boot. Oh and when we replaced them we passed them on. Even with 2 years of use the Puddleflex wellies haven’t shown any real sign of use they just didn’t fit the children’s feet any more. So when our friends came up to visit from The Twinkle Diaries I passed them onto their boys to wear for the morning on the beach and then to take home. It’ll be impressive if between us we end up with 4 years use out of a pair of wellies!
Comfy
They are the only boot that they don’t complain about after wearing them for a while, or hours if we head out for a long walk on the beach making them actually comfortable rather than just waterproof.
Warm
The fleece lining makes them warm too and they even have a lace tie around the top for secure fastening and to make sure that the water doesn’t go over the top too.
Useful
Because they have a grip sole, the girls can even clamber over the rocks in them which they usually can’t do in wellies as they can be really slippy!
Kids Love Them
Because of all the above, the kids just love them, want to wear them, and don’t complain that they hurt. That’s a win for me!
