We are going to Santa’s Lapland for Christmas Day – yes Christmas Day itself!
There are so many reasons that this is AMAZING which it obviously is, but here are a few that you may not have thought of and how we are preparing for it!
Reasons it is AMAZING that we are going to Santa’s Lapland for Christmas Day!
I don’t have to make Christmas Dinner, or Boxing Day food, or Christmas Eve dinner or really do any cooking at all this year, meaning I don’t have to panic about the shopping and whether I’ve bought enough food!
We are going to be in the most magical wintery place in the World on Christmas Day itself, meaning we will DEFINITELY have snow on Christmas Day – it’s all the girls ever really ask for!
We fly out on Christmas Eve itself and get to spend Christmas Eve so very close to Santa!
I have had to be organised and alert Santa to their gifts early (and pack some bits for them too) but luggage allowance means I won’t go overboard. As they don’t need anything at all, this is a very good thing!
They will spend Christmas Day meeting Santa, on a husky sled ride, making snowmen, toboganning, skidooing – it really is a dream come true! I mean this day is going to be Brilliant!!!
There are going to be some HUGE smiles!!
How we are Preparing to go to Santa’s Lapland for Christmas Day!
We haven’t told the kids yet, they are going to be SOOO excited! At the moment the elves are revealing a story day by day. My intention is to film the reveal itself and show you all but at the moment the elves are telling a story when they visit us, and will end up telling them that they have been invited to go and see Santa himself on Christmas Day!
Packing presents in a large suitcase, light ones!
Not buying each other gifts, visiting Santa’s Lapland on Christmas Day will be the actual gift!
Making sure we all have snow boots and the right clothes! Santa’s Lapland provide everything you need when you get there but we need things to go in and we need, base layers and hats and gloves and boots too for that!
Our jackets are Berghaus and North Face from Blacks Online, waterproof and warm too. I haven’t had the jacket off since it arrived!
If you’re thinking of going for Christmas, or beforehand do get booking as soon as possible as all dates in December have been booked for some time with Santa’s Lapland. They have some special offers on for 2018 now!
