A Ski Weekend Checklist for a weekend which includes Sauna, Skidooing, Ice Skating and Dinner out too!
This weekend I am lucky enough to be heading off to Morzine with a group of other travel bloggers to try out TG Ski’s luxury catered ski chalets in Morzine. We are not only going to ski, but we are going to try ice skating, skidooing, night sledging and the spa too! I can’t wait. So what am I going to be packing?
Clothes
Snow Boots – the warmer the better, I’m taking these Hoodoo Snow Boots from Keen.
Slippers – for the chalet, you will definitely want to get those ski boots or snow boots off
Jumpers – layering is key!
T-shirts or Base Layers
Swimming Costume – Most places have a sauna at least!
Thick socks – at least two pairs a day
Gloves, scarves and hats – always take two pairs and two hats as they are easy to loose! I love a good bobble hat!
Jeans and Jumper/Nice Top
Warm Coat – for when you aren’t wearing your ski jacket. I have a lovely North Face one !
Christmas Jumper – Seasonal! I’m taking this one below from Joules!
Ski equipment
Skis, Helmet, Ski Boots can be provided in resort. Great for a Weekend.
Ski socks – at least three or four pairs even for the weekend!
Goggles
Ski jacket – make sure it keeps you warm and fits well.
Salopettes – make sure they aren’t too big or too tight, you need to be able to move
Ski gloves
Anything Else!
Backpack – for the essentials
Sun cream – a higher factor than you mkght think – best for SPF50
Sunglasses – for when you’re off the slopes
Lip balm with SPF
Vaseline
First-aid kit
Insurance docs – and check the winter sports
Passport photos – you might need them for your lift pass
Hand warmers
Water
Snacks – I’m a fan of the little bars of chocolate and raisins.
and if you’re skiing with kids – here is the slightly longer one for that!
