Excited much? Me? I could squeal like a pig in muck over the cool, new SpaceCot. This fabulous product boasts that it can be assembled in three seconds. Yes, you read that right: three seconds! My husband and I once spent over an hour and a half trying to put together a travel cot in a rental cottage (it was me who eventually figured it out [smugface]), so you can imagine what a revolution this product will be for us and for many more parents.

The cot folds away (again in three seconds – did I mention that it only takes three seconds?!) into a neat, zippable bag and can be easily transported, even thrown over your shoulder like an over-sized handbag (or man-bag), because it weighs a feather-like 6 kgs. That’s a lot less than my eight month old!!

The SpaceCot can be used in multiple ways and we intend to try them all. We have a few holidays abroad planned this year and my parents live in Cumbria so the handy, lightweight cot will be much used. I have also ordered a glorious UK summer, so I cannot wait to put Tabitha in the garden to play in the SpaceCot. It will be a fabulous playpen so that she doesn’t get knocked over by our two very bouncy Labradors.
