We were in Portugal over Half Term at Martinhal Quinta and Sagres and we got the opportunity to try out some of Sunuva’s new Spring/Summer 2016 collection. I fell in love with Sunuva’s swimwear last year in Greece when I worked out that I could keep the girls safe in the sun really easily and the colours and outfits were just so so pretty. Just look at the colours!

The Sunuva tops are really really quick dry (and having used last years A LOT  I can tell you they keep their colour) and with UPF 50+ they kept my Mini Travellers protected when they were playing in the sun. According to the website the quality fabrics block out more the 97% of the sun’s harmful rays. This meant that when we put these tops on there was far less suncream we needed to apply. This made us happy, and the girls happy. It meant we could get them ready for the pool  far quicker, and in reality we only had to put suncream on their legs, top of necks and face. With three Mini Travellers desperate to start playing, this was a life saver. I haven’t yet met a child that likes to stand still to have sun cream applied!

It was a little nippy in Portugal this year and so I loved having shorts to put on them, it felt like it was warmer than a costume, even though that probably wasn’t the case.  Just look at them trying to dip their toes in! This pool wasn’t heated so they really weren’t sure about getting in.  Not sure they were once they were in either!
