As we live in the North West, a lot of the reviews of days out we have written ourselves are within an hour of Manchester or Liverpool.  Living in this part of the world you need to be prepared to head out come rain or shine.

So what are are our top five things to do near Manchester and Liverpool with the kids? In no particular order:

  2. This post brought back memories. I grew up in the Wirral and my grandparents lived there until I was in my early 20s. So I spent many a happy day at the Albert Docks. We used to love pulling funny faces in front of the “This Morning” window. I remember going to Chester Zoo too. We also spent a lot of time climbing the clay rocks at Thurstaston and walking on the walls eating ice cream at Park Gate! Hugs Mrs H xxxx
