Before we went to Greece this year I hadn’t heard of Rash Vests. I don’t know why, but I just hadn’t.  Maybe it’s because up until now my girls have always worn full UV suits, but now they are all toilet trained and happy to take themselves off to the toilet, a rash top and bottoms is a much more practical option.

If you follow Mini Travellers on Instagram you may well have noticed that my Mini Travellers lived in their new Sunuva Rash Tops and swimming costumes all holiday.  If you didn’t I can bore you with some holiday snaps now!

However I do want to explain why we loved them so much. One they made keeping them safe in the sun really easy and two (more for me and the girls than hubby) they were just so so pretty. Just look at the colours!

Back to the sun safety which should really be my main priority.  The Sunuva tops are really really quick dry and with UPF 50+ they kept my Mini Travellers protected when they were playing in the sun. According to the website the quality fabrics block out more the 97% of the sun’s harmful rays. This meant that when we put these tops on there was far less suncream we needed to apply.  This made us happy, and the girls happy.  It meant we could get them ready for the pool or the beach far quicker, and in reality we only had to put suncream on their legs, top of necks and face.  With three Mini Travellers desperate to start playing, this was a life saver.  I haven’t yet met a child that likes to stand still to have sun cream applied!

If we were going to the beach we just popped their costumes on, a pair of shorts and the rash vest on top. When they got to the beach they could just take the shorts off and start playing immediately.  I fell in love with these tops and will definitely be buying them again. Why not head over to Sunuva and check them out.

  1. I love the designs on these! Will be checking them out for the boy now he is ready to start body boarding. They are rash tops as they are traditionally worn under a wet suit to prevent a rash. lovely happy family too 🙂

  2. I’ve never really thought of putting Little Miss H in a rash vest. But this Sunuva tops have really changed my mind. They are so pretty (a must when you have a little girl) and I am so impressed that they protect from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
