Are you a fan of Center Parcs here in the UK? Have you ever considered visiting a Center Parcs abroad? Well that’s exactly what Villages Nature® Paris is, a Center Parcs abroad and even better than that it’s a holiday resort close to Disneyland® Paris and the Eiffel Tower too!

*NB This is a post in collaboration with Villages Nature® Paris

The kids are learning about the Eiffel Tower in their French lessons at school and came home last week asking if we could go on a trip to Paris this year to see it and learn more French.  Having said that a trip to Paris would be a great idea, rewarding their enthusiasm for wanting to learn more about France and it’s historic buildings – they then said oh and Mummy it has a Disneyland there too so maybe we could do that whilst we were there! Clever children using the Eiffel Tower as a ruse for a trip to Disney!

However when Pierre & Vacances got in touch and asked what we thought of Villages Nature® Paris, a holiday resort close to Disneyland® Paris and the Eiffel Tower too, it seemed like fate and I decided I had to give it a proper look.

Location of Villages Nature® Paris

It’s location is just about perfect, being only 6 km from Disneyland® Paris and 30 km from the Eiffel Tower in Paris itself. It’s a mere 20 minutes from the Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy TGV station, 10 minutes from CDG airport and 30 minutes from Paris on the RER A line.

Is Villages Nature® Paris like Center Parcs?

Well it is and it isn’t. It’s brought to you by two leaders in the tourism industry: Euro Disney S.C.A. and Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs and is a brand new concept.  It’s a complete holiday resort with luxury accommodation, some of which will sleep up to 12 people and there is a swimming paradise with various slides and an enormous outside (heated to 30°) pool too, but there is much much more too.

What is there at Villages Nature® Paris?

There are 5 Immersive Worlds at Villages Nature® Paris all of which are included in the cost of a trip and you have unlimited access to all.

The Aqualagon at Villages Nature® Paris

The Aqualagon is one of the largest covered water parks in Europe. The indoor area opens out to an outdoor pool which is heated to 30° using geothermal energy, impressive I think! •There is a wave pool. an adventure river, 7 giant waterslides and even a climbing wall.  There is a swim areas just for kids with 2 indoor paddling pools, 2 outdoor paddling pools and 1 splash pad area.  The adults aren’t forgotten though with 3 jacuzzi and a Deep Nature Spa including 5 treatment rooms, a sauna, a hammam and a salt room.

Without reading about the rest of the activities I wanted to go!

The Extraordinary Gardens at Villages Nature® Paris

With over 2.1 hectares (5.2 acres) of gardens there is so so much room to play and to explore.  There is an Earth Garden, a Fire Garden, and Air Garden and a Water Garden. Whilst I love the idea of a path through the gardens featuring life-size board games, a Walk of Wonders and a Symphony of Smells, it is the nighttime musical gatherings around the fire and a family treasure hunt that really gets me excited about this immersive world.

The Forest of Legends at Villages Nature® Paris

Designed for children between two and twelve the Forest of Legends, is a play areas nestling between the trees which will enchant the younger kids and excite the older ones. Whilst the younger ones will undoubtedly love the slides and climbing frames, the older kids will have fun building huts, crossing rope bridges and exploring mysterious trails.

The BelleVie Farm at Villages Nature® Paris

The BelleVie Farm is surrounded by high walls and moats, and the entrance is a huge arch that opens onto a courtyard.  There are cows, chickens, ponies and goats and create a real-life farm experience for visitors.  There will be loads of activities and workshops offering opportunities to learn while having fun, including bread making, an introduction to beekeeping, pony rides and much much more.

Whilst I know my three would love the pony rides and might be scared of the bee keeping, I’d like to have a go at bread making, particularly if they were going to teach me to make French bread.

The Lakeside Promenade at Villages Nature® Paris

There is a large range of entertainment for all at The Lakeside Promenade at Villages Nature® Paris.  It’s a place to linger, enjoy a bite to eat and discover the brands on offer at Villages Nature® Paris. It’s a place to buy food to cook or a place to eat out.

What can you do at Villages Nature® Paris?

Like Center Parcs here in the UK there is a huge range of activities on offer, but there are lots of activities that you won’t find here in the UK. Catching my eye is Paddleboarding, Water Basketball, Aquajump (trampolines underwater!) Wine Tasting, Cooking with Kids, Butter Making, Raft Building and many many more.

What is the Accommodation Like at Villages Nature® Paris?

There are three different styles of accommodation to suit all budgets; Clan Comfort, Country Premium and Cocoon VIP. The photographs of the beautifully designed rooms are really inspiring and with 916 of them around the village there should be something that catches your eye.

The idea is • Zero carbon • Zero waste • Sustainable transport • Local, sustainable materials • Local and sustainable food • Sustainable water • Land use and wildlife • Culture and community • Equity and local economy • Health and happiness!

All stays at Villages Nature® Paris include: • A cottage or apartment in the village, by the lake or in the forest • A la carte services • Unlimited access to the 5 immersive worlds above • Selected activities such as animal care, parent-child cooking classes, the Forest of Legends interactive show, ‘meet the gardener’, street entertainment on the Lakeside Promenade.

Oh and it’s near Paris and the Eiffel Tower too, so why not pop over and check out the website!

  1. Oh my goodness, it looks amazing! I had no idea there was a Pierre et Vacances that close to Disneyland Paris and it looks absolutely perfect for our visit next year. I really want to take my children to Paris, where I lived and studied for 3 years. xx

  2. Oh, this looks very nice and comfortable. I think it would be a great option too, for visiting Paris, as accommodation is very expensive and unreliable there!
