Voting is now open for you to vote for your favourite nominees in the Worldwide Attraction Awards 2016.
These are the only awards solely dedicated to the attractions industry that are voted for by the public. The results will reveal not only the Best Attraction in the World and the UK, but will also cover new categories including everything from the Best Attraction for Team Building to the world’s Best Rollercoaster (I know what mine is!).
Following the launch of the Worldwide Attraction Awards last year, the votes are now open for the public to choose their favourite nominees for 2016 and is hosted by the attractions ticket provider AttractionTix.co.uk. These are the only awards dedicated to recognising excellence in the attractions industry, and there are almost a hundred worldwide attractions nominated across 19 categories, spanning the best of the UK, USA, Dubai and beyond.
Aside from the votes from you, which count for 40%, the judging panel consists of: Simon Applebaum, Managing Director at AttractionTix.co.uk, Pippa Jacks, the editor of TTG Magazine, your very own favourite travel blog Mini Travellers, and Megan Jerrard.
The full list of nominees and categories can be viewed and votes can be cast here: www.attractiontix.co.uk/waawards/2016-finalists. Voting will close at midnight on the 27th November, with the results revealed on the 30th November.
WHY NOT VOTE NOW!
Simon Applebaum, Managing Director of AttractionTix.co.uk, commented:
“Last year was such a great success; we had people from all around the world eager to vote and support their favourite attractions. The industry has never before had a chance to be recognised in this way and we feel it’s important to give these amazing attractions the credit they deserve. From horror to history, sci-fi to romance; we’ve extended our categories to accommodate for even more of the world’s very best attractions.”
