We went at Christmas and this is our review, including video! This Christmas holidays Tarvin Sands Reindeer Centre, put on a Frozen Experience!  We arrived yesterday morning a little bit too early and queued (we are British after all) with some other very excited Elsa and Anna fans.  In retrospect we should have waited in the car, as for an additional 15 minutes in -1 with 3 girls in fancy dress (plus hats, coats and scarves) the girls still weren’t really warm enough Frozen Experience

As 10am approached a friendly man from the Centre brought a reindeer (Sven obviously) to the front of the queue.  The girls then followed their reindeer round a frozen lake (actually Frozen as it was that cold), to a small outside ‘theatre’ for a short 25 minute Frozen show. IMG_9300.JPG The chap who played Kristoff was really engaging and ‘led’ the show. My three were transfixed.  The highlight of the show is however Elsa singing ‘Let it Go’ and actually making it snow!   After the show finishes the cast are available for photographs. You simply take your own camera (so no overpriced photo opportunities to put you off).  Kristoff, Anna and Elsa were all lovely with the children, really engaging. IMG_9302.JPG You can also spend some time feeding the reindeer, or dine in the on-site cafe.  We however made a  fairly hasty retreat to the car as we were all absolutely freezing (not the fault of the Experience!). NB: We paid for our tickets and were not asked to write this review. **Take your own camera for photographs.

  3. This looks like the perfect experience for all the little Anna’s and Elsa’s out there who love Frozen. It’s great that all the actors were engaging with the little ones, sometimes they don’t really interact and it ruins the whole experience. your three look very excited for the whole experience. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.

  4. Wow the actor playing Kristoff is spot on!

This looks like such a fun experience. Here’s hoping that more places put on similar shows this year. My little girl would go completely bonkers over it! 🙂

Kids always like disney but that movie just seems to be everywhere or the media is just getting better at their jobs. lol Great post. Thanks for linking up to Share With Me #sharewithme

  9. My 3 year old daughter would love this, she got the Frozen DVD for Christmas and has watched it at least 20 times already, she knows all the songs and she goes mad every time she sees anything to do with Frozen in the shops, this would make her day!

  10. My four year old son and six year old daughter would love this! And me too! We’re Frozen mad in our house but there hasn’t been that much on or that good in our area. This looks perfect and not too far for us in Manchester 🙂

  11. Shame they cancelled the May shows, after I had booked a hotel and told my daughter we were going. I did email them asking for an explanation but have so far not had a reply. The only notification of cancellation I have had was via Ticketsource. I’m glad that those of you that went had a good time but this has left a very bad taste and I wish I’d never heard of the place. Certainly wouldn’t ever risk booking again.
